You have to be into leveling and battling to like them, not looking for a plot/character development.The Friday the 13th series doesnвЂ™t have much life these days, at least so far as the cinema is concerned. The old Dragon Warrior games (I-III) that are on the GBC, don't have much story. DX (listing this because it's my favorite version of SMB and think it's worth picking up even if you own another version, Boo Race mode is worth it alone imo since it's fairly cheap)

How does Dragon Warrior (now known as Dragon Quest) compare to Final Fantasy? I'm thinking specifically of the personalities of the characters - I tried very, very hard to like FF, but I could never get into the series because I found the teenage dramatical emo characters to be incredibly annoying. I do of course have preferences, but I've found games that I love in genres I usually am not a fan of, so I'd rather not list my preferences because I don't want to miss out on suggestions. I've googled to find which games are generally considered to be the best games available to the systems, but I find it frustrating and time-consuming to wade through thread after thread after thread to find suggestions of games that are great, but that didn't make the 'top 10' or 'top 25' lists.
